The speech for the game was recorded at Studio X Labs during the month of December 2016 with the editing finishing up by mid-January. There were 21 actors and 12,000 lines of dialogue to be recorded and edited.

Studio X Labs to produce audio for Homeworld Remastered Collection
Gearbox Software will be re-releasing both Homeworld and Homeworld 2 in full 4K resolution. Since the original audio production for both titles was handled by Studio X Labs back in 1999 and 2003, it was natural for Studio X Labs to assist in the re-release.
