Gearbox Software partnered with Studio X Labs to support the development of the Homeworld Remastered Collection, bringing both Homeworld (1999) and Homeworld 2 (2003) to modern audiences with fully remastered visuals and audio.
Having produced the original audio for both titles, Studio X Labs was uniquely positioned to assist with the remastering process, helping preserve the iconic soundscape that helped establish Homeworld as one of the most influential real-time strategy franchises ever created. Over the years, the series has developed a passionate worldwide fan community and continues to be regarded as a landmark in both game design and interactive audio.
